PanCAN's mission is to take bold action to improve the lives of everyone impacted by pancreatic cancer by advancing scientific research, building community, sharing knowledge and advocating for patients.
Last year, we raised nearly $20,000 for charity by running 36 miles over 36 hours — with breaks to work, eat and sleep. We called it "Better Together."
This year, we're aiming for $50,000! That wouldn't just be "Better Together" — it would be "Way Better Together."
For 2024, we're expanding our efforts with more branches, more runners and more funds raised for our chosen charities. But the miles? We're sticking with 36.
Join us October 1-2 as the RPS team takes on the challenge of covering 36 miles within 36 hours. Follow along as we put our passion into action!
Feeling inspired? You can get involved in a few ways:
Donate. Make a donation to support a charity listed below.
Run with us. There's an option for everyone, even non-runners:
Share: Get the word out on social media.
Follow RPS on LinkedIn and Instagram to keep pace with our progress. We'll highlight each participating branch and their runners, showcasing their journey, the scenic routes they're taking, and their recovery stories. Expect a few surprises along the way!
At RPS, our culture is rooted in teamwork, empathy and taking the initiative. Our shared values remind us that:
In 2023, RPS President Adam Mazan and his Southern California team took that last value to heart, launching the first charity run to make a real impact. But this wasn't just any run — it was 36 miles in 36 hours! Work some, then run some. Eat. Sleep. Work. Run. Repeat!
This year, we're taking it companywide. Join us in supporting RPS branches and runners as they come together to benefit two important charities. Whether running solo or as part of a relay, our team is ready to prove once again that when we work together, we can make a difference.

Through the power of sports, people with intellectual disabilities discover new strengths and abilities, skills and success. Special Olympics athletes inspire people in their communities and elsewhere to open their hearts to a wider world of human talents and potential.
We're waiting to see who shows up with their running shoes...
