RPS Programs Expands Crane and Scaffold Programs

ROLLING MEADOWS, IL — March 30, 2026 — The RPS Programs division today announced the expansion of its longstanding Crane & Rigging and Scaffold & Construction Access insurance programs to include additional classes of businesses served and greater underwriting flexibility.

These programs are available in the contiguous 48 states and are underwritten with A.M. Best A- (Excellent) Admitted and Non-Admitted carriers. Coverages span General & Excess Liability, Property, Auto, Inland Marine and Contractor's Pollution. Several unique exposures for these contractors are addressed in these multiline programs and can be additionally tailored for specific equipment transit, job site, materials, climate or regulatory considerations.

Key construction activities these programs cover include supported scaffold, construction hoists, elevators, mast climbers and swing staging as well as varied crane, rigging and millwright operations.

New features of these programs include:

• Crane & Rigging: Now offering expanded capacity for steel erectors
• Scaffold & Construction Access: Broadening reach to include multi-trade contractors
• Customized Risk Retention: Enhanced flexibility in deductibles and self-insured retentions (SIRs) for complex, high-value risks
